Guest skytrain
After installing Mandrake 10 successfully, my LaserJet printer kicks out a single blank page on booting up, with just A0A printed on it. Any way to fix this?
Kjel Oslund
Not yet, It has been reported as a bug on Cooker Bugzilla. It appears to be a problem in the way the kernel probes the parallel port.
VeeDubb
Have you tried updating your kernel? 10.0ce comes by default with 2.6.3-4mdk, but 2.6.3-7mdk is on the update mirrors if you look, so is the matching source. It fixed most of my hardware related issues.
Padma
AHh, thanks, VeeDubb. 2.6.3-7mdk it is! :)
Kjel Oslund
I'm running 2.6.3-7mdk and the printer page-eject problem is not fixed in that release. The bug primarily seems to affect HP printers, so not everyone will see it.
