Guest lars_skaringer Posted November 26, 2002 Report Share Posted November 26, 2002 Hi, I have Mandrake 9.0 installed with kernel 2.4.19 downloaded and recompiled (the kernel supplied on the CD won't boot on my system). Things generally work fine, but if I have a Gnome terminal open and try to open a second one, I get the following error dialog: "There was an error creating the child process for this terminal: Success". Also, if I have a Gnome terminal open and open an Xterm, the Xterm immerdiately crashes (disappears) - I suspect due to the same problem.
