leebrendalee
ok, I have tried installing 3 versions of linux..finally trying mandrake 10.. here's my error: Could not uncompress second stage ramdisk. This is probably a hardware error while reading the data, this may be caused by a hardware failutre or a linux kernal bug? I have a inspiron 2600 dell, xp pr on 1/2 and another version of linus on the other partition..(that doesn't work either)..any ideas what I should do now??? I'M HOPELESSLY LOST at this point..3 days later, 9 cd's later..I was so excited to try this..and can't get past first base. brenda
jeffa
just beware where you downloaded the iso's from, I download some and the iso's were all around the 550mb mark.. this is wrong, I downloaded from another location, they were 650mb, and all worked fine...
