  1. Would also love help with this.. I have exact same issue :(.. here I was thinking wow, Mandriva was perfect.. Please don't let me down!!!
  2. Just so we are clear, i killed shorewall off and did the whole disable firewall thing in the top of this section with all the iptables stuff... Firewall says it allows everyhing, and shorewall is turned off... Any ideas? -Jeffa

  6. I got the source code, when i updated that was one of the updates, but it never downloaded 2.6.3-13... I'll try find it..
  7. is there a way to update the kernel via rpm, or have to do the whole bzImage stuff.
  8. Donwloaded and installed 10.0 mdk... comes with kernel-2.6.3-7mdk source... downloaded driver for me ati radeon 9600... It can not find version.h in /usr/src/linux/includes.. or what ever.. But in the includes there is stuff all... when i update the kernel source with is 2.6.3-13mdk, is had the version.h... why does -7mdk not have version.h? -Jeffa

  10. just beware where you downloaded the iso's from, I download some and the iso's were all around the 550mb mark.. this is wrong, I downloaded from another location, they were 650mb, and all worked fine...
  11. I tried autoboot from CDROM, this works, but kernel then says no cdroms found, so I put another cdrom driver in, Lite-on, same thing... I try a:\ rawwrite, and once it boots from there, same thing... any ideas? -Jeffa
