Guest ironmc
I am having a problem with XCDRoast. When I try to burn a data disc, I get the message: OPC failed. What does that mean? I have a Samsung 408B at /dev/scd0. I was having this problem before I upgraded to Mandrake 9.0 . Any Ideas?? Also I would like to burn my MP3s into digital music format to play in the car. Is there a Linux program that does this? XCDRoast does not seem to fit the bill. Thanks In Advance
mystified
Eroaster will convert your MP3's to .wav files for you so you can burn them as audio CD's. I use Eroaster for my data files also so I can't help you with your problem with XCDRoast.
Cannonfodder
Did you make sure you have all the latest updates to 9?
Guest ironmc
I got the burner to work, but I'm not totally sure what I did to make it work. I changed to a new disc, I suppose that could have been it. Thanks for the help
