rockerduck
I've a machine with a pioneer scsi cdrom on a Aic-7880 controller (non boot capable) I succesfully installed mdk 10 rc1 but had no success with 10 community. The problem is in the /images/cdrom.img file. Using it to boot I get an "no cdrom device found" message... So I did an experiment... I used the cdrom.img image file from 10rc1 to boot 10 community and the cdrom WAS FOUND! Obviously I get a mismatch kernel error message after few step of installation... I don't know how to solve the problem...
bvc
it's a 10-CE bug. Boot with cd2 of 10-CE and insert cd1 when prompted.

I know about that bug... but same with second cd... it does not find the cdrom device (scsi) I tried the two discs in another computer with an ide boot capable cdrom... and they works... rockerduck
I finally found the trick: I used the cdrom.img-2.4.25-2mdkBOOT image file in the /images/alternatives/ directory on the first cd...
