Guest daveclark Posted November 22, 2002 Report Share Posted November 22, 2002 Hi Have 9.0 installed and am getting a weird error with Mandrake update. I can run this fine. It asks if it can go fetch the mirrors and brings me back a list but no matter which mirror i choose i always get the same error. "There was an error while adding the update medium via urpmi This maybe due to a broken or unavailable mirror or when your mandrake version 9.0 is not yet / no more supported by Mandrake Linux offical updates Do you want to try another mirror" I have searched around the boards but cant seem to find any one with this error. About the only thing I can think of is that I re-installed 9 after some probs with my video card and installing new drivers Any one got any ideas? Guest daveclark Posted November 22, 2002 Report Share Posted November 22, 2002 ok problem was easily solved I went into the MCC and choose software sources pmanager. In the list was the 3 install disks and one uprmi entry. I removed this, saved, restarted rpmdrake and all is ok !!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
