Urza9814
Is there any way to get the sound off a wmv or mov movie file? I have this P.O.D. bonus video, and it's before the CD with that song came out, so the lyrics are different, it's got a lotta extra stuff at the end, and, it's live...and I want it on my MP3 player...anyone know how, without wiring my speakers up to the Line-In? aru
Go to PLF and get the transcode package and its dependences. With it I'm sure you'll be able to do what you want; however don't ask me how to because I don't know; You'll have to do a hard search in the documentation or/and in internet. Transcode is somekind of very powerfull swiss army tool for processing video streams. HTH
Urza9814
that PLF thing confused me...so I'm just re-routing the speakers to Line-In and using the MP3 recorder on my other comp :P ...after I turn off the 5 bass boosts...I made that mistake once before :P
zero0w
Audacity can record & capture Volume Output, but perhaps Transcode is a more direct hacking at the media files.
