Guest ramazz
I had a mandrake 9.2 machine running postgres 7.3.4 and used urpmi to update it to 7.4.1 from the cooker rpms. Now I get errors if I try to run it. eg. psql: relocation error: psql: undefined symbol: get_progname I assume this has something to do with pieces of 7.3 left over so I used urmpe to remove 7.4.1 and reinstalled 7.3.4, then uninstalled 7.3.4 to get rid of the files and reinstalled 7.4.1, and am now back to the errors ... again Anybody else seen this and know how to fix it easily? Guest ramazz
FIXED!! Seems the postgresql 7.4.1-2 packages don't properly upgrade the libpq3 rpm package. Upgrade libpq and now it works
