Guest septiroth Posted November 21, 2002 Report Share Posted November 21, 2002 When I start mandrake update(9.0) my cdroms stir as if being accessed for about 2 min before program responds by connecting to servers. There is no disks in them...why does mandrake update want to go to my cdrom drives for online updates???? Is there a fix for this problem? 83mercedes Posted November 21, 2002 Report Share Posted November 21, 2002 The only work-around I could figure out, is to just put in one of the Mandrake 9 CDs, it doesn't matter which one, before you start the update process.
