Guest Ender
Ok, how do I start a VNC server through the command line. I can do it using rfbdrake, but was thinking of running it as a service if it is possible. Would I have to download the source from VNC or is it available through mdk. -Thanks for the help! Guest secovel
To install urpmi tightvnc-server Read the man pages. You need to edit /etc/sysconfig/vncservers. You also need to add a password (vncpasswd?). Its in the man page. Can't remember now. Then... service vncserver start It will also show up as a service in the GUI manager so you can start it on bootup.
Guest Ender
That was simple, thanks! :D Also, on a kinda related question can you specify where URPMI goes and looks first. I was to lazy to put in disk 3 , so I just used red-carpet and got it that way, but I have urpmi.update working so I have an outside source available already. Thanks for your time again!
