coverup
I wonder if anybody knows a commandline tool for switching network profiles. Most of the time, I access my laptop via network, without even logging in from the console. I however have to switch network profiles to choose between work and home. At present, to switch network profiles, I log in KDE, start MCC, then switch profiles. I believe, there must be a simple command line way of doing this without logging in the GUI - apparently, MCC runs some scripts behind the scenes anyway. Does anybody know a simple answer? Thanks. arthur
I'm also looking for the answer...but in MCC sometimes the profile change is not that smooth. Anyway it's very time-consuming... *bump* this thread. any gurus out there who can help us?
