Guest saberworks
I'm looking for an editor similar to Editplus for Windows (http://www.editplus.com/). The key features I need are: - Multi-file tabbed-selector - PHP / HTML / Perl syntax highlighting - Decently Fast - Not Quanta (it won't compile on my Mandrake 9.0 system :() - Should be fairly easy to install and known to work on Mandrake 9! Thanks in advance for any suggestions... so far I've tried GVIM and NEDIT but I'm not all that happy with either... Nedit is a pain because it opens each file in a brand new window, and GVIM is a pain because I don't know/like/want to learn all the commands, plus it doesn't have a visual indicator of which files are open or a way to mouse-click between them. b
Have you considered emacs/xemacs ? I think if I knew how to ask they would tell me the color of my socks.

zero0w
I just found out Quanta 3 is installed on MDK 9 by default. You can locate it at K Start > Networking > WWW > Quanta Plus It should be Quanat 3 pre-1 version.
Guest saberworks
The default installed quanta crashes and the textar one won't run to begin with. Is there anything else I can do?
