emh Posted November 18, 2002 Report Share Posted November 18, 2002 I'm trying to get certain TTF fonts loaded in a Wine program, but I am unclear as to how to do this. The Documentation on the Winehq page was extremely unclear. I've already loaded the TTF fonts into the X server by using Mandrake Control Center, selecting Fonts, then pressing the button to install Windows fonts. How do I get Wine to use these fonts? Guest shavenyak Posted November 19, 2002 Report Share Posted November 19, 2002 I think your problem is likely that the directory with the fonts isn't listed in your wine configuration file. Fire up a text editor and look at /etc/X11/fs/config and see what font directories are set up on your system. Then, look at ~/.wine/config and make sure that all those directories are listed in the [FontDirs] section. If any are missing, add them in.
