Guest JaseP
I've been having a heck of a time trying to get OpenOffice to print to legal size (8.5 inch x 14 inch) paper with my Lexmark z52 USB printer. There is apparently no paper size or nearest European equivalalent for it and I have had no luck trying to create a custom paper size. I assume that paper size is a function of the printer drivers. Does anyone know how to add a paper size to the available papers for a Lexmark z52 printer??? OpenOffice will open the documents that use the 8.5 inch x 14 inch size, but printing them ends up with a document that is cut off at the set margin for 8.5 inch x 11 inch paper... Any help or Ideas???
Glitz
Have you tried configuring the printer using KUPS (or whatever printer driver configuration program you are using)? Glitz.
Guest JaseP
Yep, tried that, no dice... there's no mechanism to do that. using CUPS by the way,...
Glitz
I know that StarOffice has spadmin which allows for adding printers to StarOffice and configuring them (SO5.2) but I don't know about SO6.0. Is there something similar for OO? Glitz. PS. I just checked out KUPS on my machine. If you select your printer on the left and click on the instances tab (you may have to scroll the tabs all the way to the right), you can then select an instance and click settings. There is a paper size setting that is displayed at the top.
