Urza9814
I had it installed, and it was working...kinda...but it had some problems, so I tried to reinstall it, and I got an error...tried again, same thing. Anyways, the error/problem is that when I try to boot into 'Linux', nothing happens. 'Linux-secure' just shows '.......' in a dos screen, and the other 2 say 'EBDA is big; kernel setup stack overlaps LILO second stage.' anyone know how to fix that??? ac_dispatcher
First did you check the md5sum of the .iso file? Or is it a purchased CD?. At first look it sounds like the first cd my be bad. Did it ever work good? Is it a stock MDK kernel or did you compile your own?
Urza9814
It's a FTP install from the mandrake download servers...when I downloaded it, I couldn't get it installed...so I did that...it worked before, but doesn't now :-S would a MBR on both harddrives cause this? I accidentally put it on the main during the first install, but wasn't sure in the second, so I put it on the second harddrive...
