miemens Posted December 12, 2003 Report Share Posted December 12, 2003 Ok, I'm tried to install 9.2 from my harddisk following this guide. And everything went fine until it got to the partitioning step. What happened was I selected "Use Free Space on Windows Partition" and then after I picked how I wanted it to be resized it started like normal with the hourglass and everything but after it finished it gave me a "no hdlist found" error and kicks me back to the partitioning options menu. I've installed mdk and some other distros several times but this is the first time I've tried to install from the HD. BTW it did successfully resize the windows partition and create / and /home.
