Mandrake on Compaq Evo n115

Any one of you know if the new version of Mandrake 9.2 is compatible with a Lap Top Compaq Evo N115 . My main concern is the acpi support, y already tried red hat 8,9 and mandrake 9.1 but the acpi support still doesn work, the fan of the processor doesnt stop and the lap doesnt turn off automatically. and when i installed mandrake 9.1 with acpi enabled freeze my computer.
