I can not find any similar file on my system (2006 Oficial silver club edition). Does anyone know: 1) Where to download a copy of cxuninstall , or 2) How to manually delete the demo version of crossover?

Been testing MNF for a while (love it) and suddenly the web admin tool would not accept my ID and password. Logged in at the PC and was told the password expired and to change it. How do I force MNF to keep passwords forever (or a loooong time)? Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks everybody for all your help, I learned a lot! Your advice was clear and specific enough that I was able to follow it to the end. I got evolution from cooker, and it worked, but will stay away from other cooker packages ( and other application upgrades) untill i'm more experienced.

Thanks for the advice, I now understand better how the tools work together... I added texstar to my urpmi sources (worked), ran "urpmi evolution" in a shell Konsole and got error message "installation failed: libgal.so.19 is needed by libgtkhtml20-1.0.4-4mdk".

Rpmdrake says that libgtkhtml20-1.0.4-4mdk is already installed. What next?

What is the best/easiest way to upgrade applications like Mozilla, Evolution, etc. to the next version? I am running 9.0. Neither rmpdrake nor mandrakeonline look like they will work since there is a version 1.2 of evolution in my rpmdrake "installable" software, but Mandrake Update does not install it.

Ximian Red Carpet sounds like it will perform this function, but I don't want to install a lot of unneeded software if it does not work well, or I don't need it. Thanks for the advice.
