I just downloaded LimeWire and I went to the command line and entered my password and all then tried to run LimeWire and it would not work. I tried using the urpmi and tried to insert it without typing urpmi. What do I do Darkelve. Also a thanks to Gowator. Thanks guys.

I downloaded gtk-gnutella and I definatley do not like it. Any other ideas or programs would at most helpful. Espescially since I can use my urpmi lol. Thanks.

How do you uninstall a program on Linux? I want to uninstall gtk-gnutella and replace it with another p2p which I am in the process of doing right now. Scoopy told me firefox is one so I will take his word for it and thanks guys for everything.

After I download a program and save it to a folder of my choice, how do i access it and run it? What should I type or learn about? Thanks guys for being extrememly patient with me!! :lol:

Hey guys I am trying to download and install a Matrix screensaver and I either can't find one or if I do it will download then I can't find it in the screensaver choice screen. I put it in my folder I want it in under rpm and I don't know what to do next. Help will be greatly appreciated along with patience being as I am new to this OS lol. Thanks.

I did the screen saver thing and this is what I get.

# urpmi xscreensaver-glxxx.rpm
unable to access rpm file [xscreensaver-glxxx.rpm]
error registering local packages

What does this mean, I have also a matrix screen saver that is in rpm but when I run it I doesn't show up under screen savers. how can I change the screen saver? Or get more options than what is already there.

P.S if you can look at one of my buddies post under installation his name is " luis101 " so look for a post that is by him that talks about something about screen saver.

I did download a version of Kazaa for Linux just I don't know how to open it after I have saved it to a file. Could I please have extremly clear instructions. Thanks.

Ok I am a newbie to Linux and I wanted to know if you can get Kazaa for Linux and if I can where and what do i do? What codes and where to save the files to and what to do after that. Alos could you help me with getting a 3-D Matrix screensaver and where to save it to and what to do after that also.
