holA (hi) i did a fresh install of ml9 (due to a problem i had), and now my konzole at the pront only shows bash$, if al login as a root it shows me the directory where i am and the user this is not the first time it happens to and i happened before (sometimes when i do fresh install it is ok and sometimes not) can anyone tell me how can i change that :?: ths :!:

hi everyone. since a installed kde3.1rc5 i got some problems ! if a make any symbolic link it doesn't work (even if i login as a root) so java doesn't work anymore, and i need it for limewire.

In my case i just installed kde3.1rc3 i18es (spanish languaje for kde3.1) and the problem its gone. hope you solve it too! thanks :lol:

the same problem happened to me, and i thought it was a languaje problem (im a latinamerican), i install the english languaje in openoffice and it worked, for a while. i uninstall openoffice and reinstall, but no luck so far. the problem is that i need openoffice to open powerpoint docs (and some others ms-docs) ths

im using it like that ,but it still crash sometimes, what bothers me the most is that it crashes after 20 or 30 minutes of use. but i got no clue :?: why it happens ths

i installed moz 1.2.1 but, i have the same problem. It crashes without any reason, :?: its a shame that this problem is still there for now i'll stay with moz 1.1 or opera (which i think its better, even if the fonsts are ugly) Does anyone have any idea about this prob. Thanks

Can anyone tell me where can i get kmess (i know its on kde3.1rc3, but i dont want to install kde3.1 just because i want this program) i did install kde3.rc3 but i had some probs, so i went back to my kde 3.05 i like kget, so i`d like to get an rpm of it from somewhere thanks

Hi, i did download the rpm for mozilla 1.2-xft , i install it without any problem, but sometimes it crashes :shock: without any special reason. do you got idea. thanks :?:

thanks for your help, but let me tell you that i found the kmess for ml9 its name is kmess-0.9.7-1akc.i586.rpm , in http://apps.kde.com but i can`t download it unless i suscribe (which means i have to pay for it) i was trying to find it somewhere else (rpmfind, google, etc) but no luck so far. if you know where i could find it , that would be nice. thanks a lot

thanks a lot, but i downloaded this tar.gz archive and couldnt compile it, and if a i download the rpm for redhat, it tells me that there are son denpendencies missing, ¿what i was wondering is if you know where can i download the rps for my ML9? (i hate compiling `cause i allways have problems doing it) thans for your help
