  2. I've tried with the firewall disabled. There are no problem accessing the webserver, but shared desktop don't work
  3. KDE Desktop Sharing seems to do the work. I have installed and configured it, but it won't work... I set the port to 5901 and allowed connections to this port through the firewall. I tried to open a session using the Webmin VNC client. I just got a EOFException in the window. I also tried to use RealVNC but it didn't work either. Does anyone know what could be wrong? /MrWhisp
  4. Hello, I would like some advice from someone experienced in running Mandrake remote. The question is, shall I run TightVNC or RFBdrake? I think it is possible to connect to TightVNC from a Windows workstation. But it is possible to connect to RFBdrake from Windows? This is however not required from my point of view... Which one of the two alternatives has best performance? Which ports are they running at? Regards, MrWhisp Edit: moved from Software by spinynorman
  5. Thanks! That helped a lot! /MrWhisp
  6. Hello, I have been searching for a antivirus solution for a Mandrake server. I need a system with automatic updates and scheduled cleanings. I have found two freeware solutions (Panda and BitDefender) and decided to use BitDefender. The problem is that BD is a console application and to be able to run and update automatically I must schedule Mandrake to run BD. The question is, can I schedule tasks in Mandrake? I don't know how... or does anyone know of a better antivirus solution? /MrWhisp
