I have the same exact problem with my Fujitsu c2210. Still have no solution, I got it to show up right in 9.1, but not in 10.

I've got a Fujitsu C Series with an Intersil Prism 2.5 WLAN built-in. I'm using Mandrake 10.0 Community now and Mandrake finds the hardware fine, but then I'm not able to see it under my network. I had been using Mandrake 9.1 and got the wireless working fine as a ethernet device but now that it's listed as a wireless device in 10, no luck. It won't autodetect it. I've tried manually all the listed orinco & prism 2 drivers with no luck. Under the hardware it suggests orinco pci. Any ideas?? Other info. i've got an realtek ethernet card which works fine and a firewire adapter which it seems to work ok. It finds what looks like the graphics card (ati radeon igp 340) as the eth1. could that be the firewire? It is not the wireless though. Anyway gonna try my luck with knoppix now.
