i dunno..ill play with it some more.. id like to purchase mandrake server or suse server and see how they run..

Right now i currently use my new Apple powerbook that i just bought.. the 17" apple powerbook with every thing in it.. also i just bought a new server.. the only way im going to learn more about mandrake is to install it and use it.. so for a few years i have been using it a little here and there mainly for a firewall the mnf snf series. i love mandrake a lot.. i have never had major problems with it. so soon in about a month or so.. i want to buy a Dell Ls series thin and light laptop. the reason i pick dell is because i have my dell dcse certification's and like dell. so im wondering has any one gotten mandrake to work with wireless pcmcia card's and what one do an of you choose and like.. i have at home a smc the new barracuda with the usb print server 802.11G works great with my apple laptop and the server and other things.. here is a picture that i found on the net to show you what the dell laptop looks like.. : O)

when i tried to add the port in the webpadmin page under firewall is said that port 10000 was not a valid port...

yeah i know.. so what would be the difference with mandrake server or suse server..

So i run a server and i want to know.. should i bu the mandrake server package. ? has any one ever run the mandrake server software. ? does any one have a copy i can TRY.. !

So is this possible to remote desktop to a mandrake box from another box. What does the other box have t have or run.?

so far i run mandrake osx Panther NO windows boxes but i can get one.. Id like to know can this be done.. ?

yeah i new that because i can access it from the internal computers but nothing from work or any thing.. ill look some more..

Id like to know if web-admin is capable of being accessed from another computer out side of the actual mandrake box. ie i want to access it from work or other places that i might be at.. i know it is running because when i get home i can type in the ip and :10000 then log in and configure it but i want to be able to do this from work and other places.. can this be done.. if so how .. can any one help me : O) Please..
