hhmm i don't know if its just XMMS anymore...it locked up twice with XMMS, locked up while compiling Wine, locked up while playing tuxracer, and locked up while playing chromium... any new solutions? :D

bvc: because it didn't lock up until i installed xmms so does anyone have a solution to this, or do i have to swtich players? i don't want to...

When I load XMMS, it will, after a while, lock up my computer, even if i am not playing music. I have to restart after this happens, since it freezes the whole os. It is not playing with realtime priority either. What is wrong? Also, I don't know if this is normal, but when I switch songs, there is a lag and sometimes it will play both songs for a a brief moment.

I went to the package installer program to install xmss, and everything goes well until I am done installing. I go to the applications menu to find most of my programs missing! When I try to open /home or any directory, it can't find Konqueror. I was wondering if there was a way to easily get my apps back, or have mandrake recongnize them agian. Is this normal? It is probably something obvious, isn't it? Oh and a side note, is there any way to have my wheel on my mouse scroll down?
