  1. I tried the package you suggested. Still get the same error. I also typed the cdrecord command line directly, i.e. outside of k3b, and got the same error. CD writing is the only thing I have to dual-boot into Windows for! I'm completely stuck with this.
  2. Thanks for your reply. I also tried googling before posting here. I have tried these versions of k3b: - the one that ships with 9.2 - 0.9-1mdk - 0.9-11mdk (from Cooker, I think) - 0.10-2tex - 0.10-2.mkd91 (from the k3b download page, I think) It must be something to do with my setup on 9.2 since I had previous versions of k3b working just fine on 9.1. I will try the 0.10cvs version from your ftp site today. (The other thing I noticed is that the only packages that seem to have "k3bsetup" available were the mdk ones. k3bsetup is very useful for setting up the required permissions!)
  3. Hi, I recently installed Mandrake 9.2 after having used 9.1 for a long time without any problems. Now, when I run k3b and try to burn via a cue file, I get an error in the debug log stating "Unsupported sector size 2352" and the CD fails to burn. I have ran k3bsetup, logged in again etc, so that all of the proper permissions have been set. My cd devices are being properly detected and are also properly mounted. k3b worked really well for me on 9.1 but now I'm stuck! Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated! Thanks.
  4. I could never get my Alcatel Speedtouch to work with Mandrake 9.0 or Mandrake 9.1 until I found this site (I'd also tried the Mandrake GUI and Wizards to set this up but failed): http://speedtouchconf.sourceforge.net/ It has all of the instructions you need, but if I remember correctly all I had to do to make it work was to run the script supplied in the download package. It all just worked. There are a few more steps required to get it to startup when you boot your machine, but everything is explained. I have not tried in on 9.2.
