  1. well i tried using an old ati radeon 700 128 m/b............ (got no joy out of that) thought id go back to the card that was supplied with pc when i bought it which was the nvidia geforce 2mx (got no joy out of that one. ive tried a number of distros including suse 10.0, fedora core 4, mandriva 2006, redhat enterprise
  2. problem solved, going to re-install and leave driver out
  3. can anyone tell me how to uninstall my dodgy driver as the graphics are terrible. its a NVIDIA geforce 2 mx running on mandriva 2006

  8. ive just installed my geforce 2mx drivers on my 2006 mandriva box now my screen is only small and the graphics too large its like a verticle scroll screen as well as a horizontal scroll screen any ideas

  13. ive set up urpmi and used it to install mplayer (all working fine) but now im trying to install j2re but get the following message urpmi database locked any help appreciated [moved from Installing Mandriva by spinynorman]

  18. everytime i go on the internet and i try to open any videos on the sites i use im told theres no plugin available ( i presume its mainly windows media player files )/ is there a media player available for mandriva 2006 . ive tried kaffine but that wont open them

  22. ive been looking on various forums for any information on this scanner and linux, ive found out some info and ive followed it but now im lost.. it told me to download sbfw.usb firmware which i have then it says install into /opt/ directory. (/opt/sbfw.usb) how do i install this file
