just installed the driver but it found a error on the istall somat about modules missing how do i see if rthe install worked i answered the questions after the install and chose the card to use but want to check the set up

hiya just re-installed my machine but been long time since i played it is there a way to put desktop icon for the game

it freezes at the first screen just before it does the memory check and system info

been in bios and it says boot options i altered it to boot from my mandriva dvd first then usb hdd, f10 to save then reboot but it freezes on the system info screen, everything just freezes, i got to switch usb hdd of then go back into bios after reboot and everything is back to how it was previously

i just bought a 250 gb external hard drive and want to install mandriva on it. 1)= is it possable it connects via usb my pc has a 20g that has windows on it that i wish to keep and make a dual boot anyone tell me if it possable to put mandriva on th usb harddrive

yeh i finally got the sims to run on ubuntu 6.06 and mandriva 2007 im just annoyed at the supplier not sending the right cds out, if you want the info to run sims on 2007 let me know il retrace the steps i took

just bought mandrake 8.1 including the sims but when i opened the box i got 4 cds 1=commercial applications cd1 2=commercial applications cd1 3= second installation cd 4=the sims now i telephoned the shop i bought it from (of the internet) and they phoned me back saying they had telephoned their supplier and was sending me another pack out. i recieved the pack today and when i opened the pack this is what i got 1=commercial applications cd1 2=commercial applications cd1 3= second installation cd 4=the sims now i know this isn't right as i don't have the install cd 1, but i just want to check with anyone who does know.

ive just purchased the gaming edition of mandrake linux (the distro which includes the sims ) my question is, is this edition compatable with the mandriva distros or is the sims cd compatable with other linux distros are updates still available for mandrake
