madarnie
While installing Mandriva 2008 in text mode, Mandriva erased the entire harddrive partitions. The partitions were as follows: two 10 GB for Windows, and 17 GB as free space. I used this free space for installing Mandriva (by selecting custom partitioning), I assigned 10GB for root partition and 1GB for swap. It asked me for writing the partition table, i verified and selected yes, and an error message was displayed saying "some error in creating partition". When I clicked 'previous' it showed me about 92TB of hard-drive with all other partitions including 17GB of free space. My total hdd capacity is 40GB. The graphical installer has no such issues. Please let me know how to file a bug report, and what all information I require to submit. Arnie
