Guest Gorgeus
Hello once again, I'm searching for a little help. Suddenly, I got a second link for floppy and cdrom on my gnome-desktop. (once again, i'm not sure on wether to ask this on the gnome or mandrake-board). I can't remove it, not as root as well, because it refuses to accept brakets within a command. I would like remove these shortcuts. Thanks for help George
Guest davebsr
first off, I don't use gnome. I can try though. I bet that your link is a symlink - try going to .gnome/desktop/ or something, poke around for that file. Is it your command line that won't delete the file? why not just use tab completion? or am i missing something. specifics! :) why can't you just right-click on the desktop and delete them?
