payasam 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2009 (edited) I have just moved to 2010. Two programs, TreePad and Everest Dictionary, have stopped working. At the command prompt I get the error "undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings". This has something to do with Kylix, it seems. Greg2 5 Report post Posted November 16, 2009 Try installing the libjpeg62 package from the repos, and see if that fixes it.
payasam 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2009 (edited) Thanks. Have that already, installed because xzgv called for libjpeg. Edited November 16, 2009 by payasam
Greg2 5 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 OK, then I suggest that you copy the lib included in the everest-linux archive cp libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so /usr/lib/ now try again. :)
payasam 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 It was there, Greg. I always copy it when I install Everest. Just checked, and both programs are now running. Maybe it was just a matter of rebooting. Thank you.
