payasam
I have just moved to 2010. Two programs, TreePad and Everest Dictionary, have stopped working. At the command prompt I get the error "undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings". This has something to do with Kylix, it seems. Greg2
Try installing the libjpeg62 package from the repos, and see if that fixes it.
payasam
Thanks. Have that already, installed because xzgv called for libjpeg. Edited November 16, 2009 by payasam
Greg2
OK, then I suggest that you copy the lib included in the everest-linux archive cp libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so /usr/lib/ now try again. :)
payasam
It was there, Greg. I always copy it when I install Everest. Just checked, and both programs are now running. Maybe it was just a matter of rebooting. Thank you.
