Disable auto-delete of rpms by MCC [solved]

Hi all --- I am new to the forum.

 

I know the command option --noclean when I install packages from the command line, and that way I keep the downloaded and installed rpms in my possession in /var/cache/urpmi/rpms

 

But I think when I do installs from the GUI, the MCC, then I cannot control the auto-cleaning of rpms --- is there a config file where I can tell MCC not to delete the installed rpms?

I think the config file is /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg.

Placing “noclean†on its own line between the first pair of brackets (the empty ones at the begining of the file) should solve your issue, I think.

The no-clean option doesn't work anymore, now you have to use post-clean. You can add a 'post-clean' global option to your urpmi.cfg file by adding this section to the top of your /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg file:

}
