Guest FenestraeNunquam
Once or twice a year I post a question about financial software, ala Quicken. I have used gnucash a little. I haven't used kapital and was wondering what's wrong with it....? I saw a post from Mystified from a couple of months ago where she mentioned being dissapointed in kapital. Well.... I need some details... Will Quicken ever have a linux version? Will gnucash get better? I also enjoyed Mystified's crack about do linux people even pay taxes... Guess not, since there isn't any tax software. Personally, I like turbotax. However, this year I did my taxes at my work (I work at a CPA firm) since we have a professional tax preparation system. Still. lots of people want to keep track of their stocks, checkbooks, and finances in general on their PC's. I don't really see linux apps expanding into this area. tyme
Quicken is not likely to make a Linux version. gnucash is improving, but slowly. we linux people just sort of wing it when it comes to money ;-)
