Falcdragon
Any one else getting this Error or Simliar? When trying to run Mandrake Control Center or any of the Drakes that require root acess from the menu (or icons) in Gnome up pops a box. "Error" "Insufficient rights." Instead of the usual one that asks for the Root Password. I noticed that urpmi update drakX-tools again the other day and the problem may have been caused by that. However I'd also had to rebuild the ReiserFS Tree at about the same time (been trying out the 2.5.xx kernels and other custom compiled ones which probably caused the FS trouble). Any one got any Ideas or Solutions? Or can confirm this as a update problem? Mandrake 9.1 upto date as of the 6th (5th US). ta.
aRTee
You could, for now, just start a terminal window, su to become root, then mcc to start it. As to the real problem, no clue....
jlc
Starts up fine and ask for root access for me, but as aRTee mentioned, I normally go the term: mcc way.
