Hi, I realize I'm new and I apologize for starting a new topic on my first post, not the most polite thing to do I know but I'm a little pressed on this. I've recently upgraded to Mandriva one 2007 and I really love it. However, I NEED a good video editor, the best I found is LiVES-0.9.8.4 despite its supposedly not so user friendly interface. I downloaded this and extracted the Gzip, and proceeded to attempt an install using the ./configure command once I was in the extracted LiVES directory. The following is exactly what I did in the terminal and the error I get. Can anyone help with this?

[owner@localhost ~]$ cd /home/owner/lives-0.9.8.4

[owner@localhost lives-0.9.8.4]$ ./configure

I cannot find the config.log, nor can I open it from inside the terminal at that location.
