tyme Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 have you rebooted since you started getting this error? this usually occurs when GNOME exits "unexepectedly" (i.e., crashes) and you log back in but the gnome-panel process from the previous session never died. the simplest way to fix this, if that's the issue, is to reboot.
