Guest ekp Posted February 12, 2003 Report Share Posted February 12, 2003 I have used Star Office with no problems since 8.1. Now after installing (new install) Man 9.0 Open Office refuses to behave. When scrolling page in Spread Sheet or word processor my system reboots X. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same results. I can not see any error messages in my log files that would suggest a reason. I have had to go back to Star Office 5.2 which still gives me no problems. I still have the problem and have not been able to resolve it. As I understand it SO 6.0's libraries conflict with 5.2 so they can not be on the same system which is a pity because I have to remove 5.2 to try 6.0.
