garage games in 2006 64

I saw this game MarbleBlast on a Mac laptop, and I thought it would be fun to try out. I went to the websige (www.garagegames.com) and saw they have a Linux version. The system requirements specifically indicate support for Mandrake 8.x+, so I figured my recent clean install of 2006 x86-64 should work. Unfortunately, when I try to run the setup program, I get an error:

 

The setup program seems to have failed on AMD Sempron Processor 2500+/glibc-2.1

What's going on here? Doesn't Mandriva 2006 include glibc 2.3? Seems like I have it installed:

glibc-2.3.5-5mdk

 

Anyone have any of the Garage Games working in 2006?
