sergei Posted September 15, 2005 Report Share Posted September 15, 2005 Hi, guys, I started to experience strange behaviour of the file browser in KDE3.4. Konqueror in file browing mode is working fine, but in the window that appears when a KDE program asks for a file choice (e.g. chose file for attachment in Kmail or Open File in Kate) in the appearing pop-up window I see only directories but not individual files. When in the Choice panel I start typing the name of the file I know to exist in this directory, grey font prompts me for it, so somehow this window does know about the files. Maybe I have changed some settings somewhere but I cannot find now how to cure that. Maybe it's a kde bug. It seems this pop-up window is QFile::open module, but I maybe wrong. Any ideas, please?
