coverup
Hi, I installed the high performance liquid theme for KDE 2.2 (MDK 8.2). I used the kdemoreartwork-liquid rpm, version 0.7-2plf, from the PLF site. Unfortunately, version 0.7 has a couple of bugs. Most notably, I can't configure korn and konqueror backgrounds. These bugs are documented in the readme file, so I presume they must have been fixed by now. Does anybody know, are there any newer rpms or tarballs available for KDE 2.2.2? (I did come across this theme for KDE 3.0, will it will work for KDE 2?) Many thanks.
beesea
i tried doing that exact thing when i was still running 8.2. if i remember correctly, liquid was usable but the transparency effect didn't work. however, i wouldn't expect the newer versions to work any better
coverup
Thanks for the reply, beesea. The transparency seems working for me. Did you check settings of the translucent effects? Cheers.
