Guest tthygesen
When I try to tar an archive with the command tar -c -v -f /etc orig_etc.tar to backup my /etc dir, I get the following error messages: tar: /etc: Cannot open: Is a directory tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now. What am I doing wrong? Thank you /Thomas Edited June 13, 2005 by tthygesen
