Guest liquid_snake
Hello all this is my first post to the forum, Like many people new to linux, software installation takes a bit of getting used to. I was wondering if anyone has tried getting matroska (lazy man) media files to work with mandrivaLE and if so can thy guide me through the process? papaschtroumpf
According to this link, support should already be provided: http://www.matroska.org/technical/guides/playback/linux/ did you try to open the file with xine or mplayer? Guest liquid_snake
Xine does not currently support mkv as of yet according to doom9. I am trying to work out mplayer as its installation does not seem as straight forward as i'd assumed requires installation of GTK+ and libglib.
