raenius
Well I have two pc's one at work and one at home. I have Mandriva 10.2 on both and I can't find the "USE SSL" option on my computer at home (evolution 2.0.4 on both). All I have is "check authentication type" at home. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can get this feature back? Is there something that I may have missed at home? Packages? Anyway I really want to get this since i'm on a wireless network and i'm not sure how secure it is. Don't like passing passwords in plain text. adamw
Check that libnspr4 and libopenssl0.9.7 are installed.
raenius
I have those packages installed. Starting Evolution from the konsole I sometimes see this: checking writable option 'auth' perms=00000040 checking writable option 'use_ssl' perms=00000010 checking writable option 'auth' perms=00000040 checking writable option 'use_ssl' perms=00000010 Ok one thing I forgot about totally was they are different versions of Mandriva. At home I have the 64bit version and at work I have the 32 bit. So this issue might be isolated to the 64 bit version Edited April 23, 2005 by raenius
