I have Mandrake 10.0 installed and a tv tuner PCI card Hauppauge Win-TV GO. The OS recognises my card and it works perfectley in tvtime and in xawtv but on a condition: every time I start the pc and i want to watch tv i have to search for channels in Configure my computer - hardware- tv tuner. It means that every time i shut down or reboot, it looses all the channel configuration and i have to make the "Configure my co..." process if i want to watch tv. I solved the problem by adding: - the string: "modprobe bttv" in the config file /etc/rc.d/rc.config, so as the bttv module starts from the beggining.. - by changing the file /home/(username)/.tvtime/stationlist.xml in this way: the default was NTSC and i set it to PAL and the same with US Cable set to EU cable.
