Horty Posted March 9, 2005 Report Share Posted March 9, 2005 I've been using Mdk 10 OE for a few months now, and after a lot of tinkering, experimenting and researching, I've nearly got it set up just nicely. I now have access to a copy of 10.1 OE, and I am wondering if it is worth the hassle upgrading to it. Is 10.1 a huge improvement over 10? adamw Posted March 9, 2005 Report Share Posted March 9, 2005 10.1 has nice stuff over 10.0, it's not world-ending, though. If you're very happy with your 10.0 setup you may not want to bother with an upgrade, especially now with 10.2 due soon - might be worth waiting a couple of months and upgrading to that. Yes, 10.0 to 10.1 upgrade usually goes pretty smoothly. Personally I usually do a fresh install and preserve my old /home partition, though, as that's all the stuff I actually care about in there.
