nyrblue35
hey all, i have a ghost image (ghost 8) and have read it can handle restoring lilo w/out a problem. well i just restored the image (mandrake 10) to my machine and when i boots low and behold i get all 9's across the screen. does this mean the bootloader is corrupt? if so how can i restore it? i have a boot disk i created from a mandrake 9.1 instal(just an install disk though)l a while back but i also have the install cd's for drake 10. of course i dont want to have to go through another install, i just want to be able to restore lilo IF that is the problem...........any help is greatly appreciated. also, i dont know if its worth mentioning but i can browse the ghost image with ghost explorer if i need anything from the image. tia at the moment im downloading a knoppix cd to see about possibly restoring lilo.
