Bookmarks have stopped working??

Very odd problem has started to occur - whenever I load my bookmarks, regardless of what browser is default, it seems to try to load the page from cache? It is really annoying and I am wondering if anyone else has this same type of issue or has a solution?

When I try to access a bookmark, this shows up in the address bar, sometimes the page does come up other times not.

file://localhost/var/tmp/kdecache-jeffrey/krun/5009.0.

I think the problem is between Mandrake passing the link to the browser since following bookmarks from within a browser works perfect in all the browsers I have installed.

Nothing critical, but annoying none the less.

Idea's?

Jeffrey

Found solution. Do not know what this does but, just to close this topic.

In the file associations menu where you tell mandrake to open .htm or .html files with your browser ( in my case opera ) append %u to the end of the command.

eg: /usr/bin/opera %u

This eliminates the problem and everything works great again.

Does anyone know why this is?
