AIM installation problems

there are only 3 cds unless you get the edition for mandrake club subscribers or the purchased pack.

 

there are other options instead of the aim program (it's actually pretty crappy).

 

you could try GAIM, but that's more for GNOME and you're probably using KDE so I would suggest looking into kopete if you want it to blend in nicely with your desktop. gaim should be installed by default, kopete may not be.
