udontlie Posted November 27, 2004 Report Share Posted November 27, 2004 i m a new user when i try to install aim, mandrake asks for the 4th cd this is the message "Please insert the medium named "Installation CD 4 (x86) " on device [/dev/hdc] " can anyone help? i thought there were only 3 cds in the installation? tyme Posted November 28, 2004 Report Share Posted November 28, 2004 (edited) there are only 3 cds unless you get the edition for mandrake club subscribers or the purchased pack. there are other options instead of the aim program (it's actually pretty crappy). you could try GAIM, but that's more for GNOME and you're probably using KDE so I would suggest looking into kopete if you want it to blend in nicely with your desktop. gaim should be installed by default, kopete may not be.
