santner
My ssh port (22) is turned off by default, and I would like to know how to enable it. I went to MCC->Security->Firewall and the checkbox that says enable everything was checked. However I then went to Shields Up and that showed that the port was closed. And when I try to ssh into my computer it says that the connection was refused. Any ideas?
feralertx
Have you got a ssh server running? If not, you wont be able to connect via ssh even if you disable your firewall. Install the ssh server if is not already there and then turn it on in the MCC / System / Services.
santner
Your exactly right. All I did was: urpmi ssh-server and update the server to start at boot and voila, perfection. Thanks!
