axel_2078
I have a hard drive that I currently have Lindows OS on, which I never really used. This is the one I want to install Mandrake on. I put the CD in and when the computer booted up, it just booted straight into Lindows. It won't seem to boot from the CD. I tried putting in a Windows XP disc, and it will recognize the CD, but once you hit a key to start booting from the disc, the screen goes black and the computer just hangs. What do I do now? I removed the disc, let it boot up, and it loads Lindows just fine. I don't get it. Edited August 20, 2004 by axel_2078
axel_2078
Never mind. I got it to work. I just put in my Windows 2000 disc and that one booted just fine. I did a quick install of the OS, then rebooted, popped in the Mandrake CD and now it's working fine.
